The turn out for the 2013 Copper Fire community fireworks event was great! Kids of all ages enjoyed the show!
Each year the Copperopolis Fire Protection District hosts a community 'safe and sane' fireworks event at Station #1 on Main Street on July 4th at dusk. The community is urged to bring their safe and sane fireworks to the event where they are put off by firefighters for the whole community to enjoy. The Volunteer association purchases a large amount of fireworks for this event helping to raise funds for Copperopolis Elementary School and creating a fun and safe 4th of July for the town.
Thank you Copperopolis Fire Protection District and Copperopolis Volunteer Association! As well as Fire Explorers Levi Rollings and Marshall Maness and volunteer Dominic Celillo for safely lighting all the fireworks.
