Sheriff Dept Press release re:Sheriff’s Office Serves Search Warrant on a Railroad Flat Residence

(San Andreas, CA) On 10/05/12 the Calaveras County Sheriff’s SWAT team and investigators with the Calaveras Narcotics Enforcement Unit (CNEU) served a search warrant at a residence on the 2100 block of Summit Level Road in Railroad Flat. Three adults, Carlos Nunez (30) of Railroad Flat, Janice Allen (53) of Railroad Flat, and Travis Duffina (29) of Railroad Flat, were arrested on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A firearm, approximately 40 pounds of processed marijuana and marijuana plants, a small amount (approx. 1/10 gram) of methamphetamine, and prescription medications were seized from the home. Two people fled from the rear of the home as the deputies arrived at the property to serve the warrant. One of the people who fled is identified as Robert “Daniel” Biegler (42) of Railroad Flat. The other person was identified as a juvenile male. Suspect Biegler is wanted on charges of child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, furnishing marijuana, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

If anyone should have contact with or know the whereabouts of Suspect Biegler do not contact him. Immediately notify the Calaveras Sheriff’s Office at 209-754-6500. This investigation is on-going and no further information will be released at this time.
