The Prevent Child Abuse Council Calaveras (PCACC) is
accepting applications for council member appointments.
PCACC is committed to
preventing all forms of child abuse in Calaveras County
through community partnerships, free trainings, education, and family-centered
events that value children, strengthen families, and engage communities.
Why become a member of

You
are committed to preventing child abuse and neglect in Calaveras County.
§
You
would like to be involved as a
decision-maker in the policy and practice of child abuse prevention strategies.
§
You
would like to support and engage in the community’s efforts to build
families’ strengths before a risk of child abuse or neglect
happens.
§
You
are a parent or a representative of a county agency, local business, faith community,
civic organization or community volunteer.
Members will be
appointed by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors and will serve two year
terms as advisors to the county for child abuse prevention strategies and
community education.
Regular meetings are
held every other month (odd months) on the 4th Thursday from
3:00-5:00pm in San Andreas. Committee meetings are scheduled as the Council
deems necessary.
