CFPD Volunteer Stacey Nolan visits Headstart

On May 25, 2011 Copperopolis Fire Protection District Volunteer firefighter /prevention specialist Stacey Nolan visited the Copperopolis Headstart greeting children, reading a book, discussing fire safety: smoke detectors, stop-drop-roll, and basic 911 procedures, teaching simple sign language that incorporates fire safety and finally inviting the children to visit the fire engine waiting just outside the front doors.

With plastic fire helmets and junior fire badges in place the excited children each got a turn to sit at the helm of a real fire engine and talk with real firefighters Stacey Nolan, Nick Maness, Aaron Smith, Johnathan Villanueva and Paramedic Desiree Jimenez.

  2. For the past 6 years that I've known Stacey, she has filled my life with joy! She is a dynamite worker and still finds time to volunteer. She loves children and people overall. She will make you not only smile when you are around her, but laugh your heart out! Thank you for all you do, Stacey! Most of all, thanks for being you!
