New Postmaster for Copper
On Wednesday October 10, 2012, Debbie Ansted of Copperopolis was sworn in as the new Postmaster of the Copperopolis Branch Post Office. Taking an oath, the same as the President, Debbie swore to preserve, protect and defend the US constitution.
Ansted, who celebrated her 25th year with the US Post Office on the same day, took a moment to thank her superiors, friends and family, stating it was an honor to be the new postmaster.
