Community Garden Harvest for Food Pantry

On August 16, 2012 in the wee hours of the morning, volunteers from Copperopolis gathered at the Bill Albee Community Garden to harvest fresh produce to donate to the Copperopolis Food Pantry for their monthly food distribution that afternoon.

The Copperopolis Food Pantry is currently serving between 45 and 50 families in our community. The donations of fresh produce from the Community Garden are a welcomed addition to the food distribution.

If you would like to become involved with the Community Garden please attend their next meeting on September 11, 2012 at 5:15 pm at the Copperopolis Branch Library.
