Copper Library host Kids Reel Books Movie Night

On April 15, 2011 the Copperopolis Branch library will be hosting a movie night, creatively titled 'reel books' for children of Copperopolis 8 years and up. Refreshments and snack will be provided. The show begins at 4 and ends by 6:30. This months hihglighted movie will be "The Lightening Thief."

The Lightning Thief is a 2005 fantasy-adventure novel based on Greek mythology, the first young adult novel written by Rick Riordan. It is the first novel in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, which charts the adventures of a modern-day twelve-year-old Percy Jackson as he discovers he is a demigod, the son of a mortal woman and the Greek god Poseidon. Percy and his friends go on a quest to prevent an apocalyptic war between the Greek gods Zeus, Poseidon and Hades.
