Action Committee to Form a VFW Sends out Thanks to the Community

The Action Committee to form a Copperopolis VFW would like to thank the community of Copperopolis for its outpouring of support.
Beginning with a thank you to Micki& Larry for the use of the Sports Pub for a years worth of formation meetings, to the current offers to utilize meeting areas at Umpqua Bank, Coldwell Banker, and the Copperopolis Branch Library.
A thank you to the Lake Tulloch Quilters for designing and creating a one-of-a-kind quilt to raffle for funds. Another big thank you to Bret Harte Senior Carson Ellington, who chose to donate all the proceeds from the Gavin Brummund Memorial Golf Tournament to the formation committee for a Copperopolis VFW. Also, a thank you to the Copperopolis Communty Center for co-sponsoring our upcoming Veterans Spaghetti Dinner and Payless IGA for helping support our efforts with donations for the dinner.
And finally a big thank you to all the veterans that have helped along the way to create something amazing for our community, our veterans and our active military personnel coming home.
