Bass Fishing Turkey Shoot results

        The Bass Fishing Turkey Shoot was held at Salt Spring Valley Reservoir and Campground. It was put on by Dylan Smith Productions. There were 8 boats competing. They blasted off around 6:30 am under overcast skies weighed in by 3:00. The water temp was 51 degrees and all boats landed fish.

          The winners were Guy Stearns and Nick Chipponeri with a total weight on 5 fish of 24.30 lbs earning them $340.

          Second place went to Bob Hemphill and Rod Beyers with a total weight on 5 fish of 20.54 lbs earning them $ 140

          The biggest fish caught during the event weight in at 6.36 lbs landed by Sonny Abalos and Randy Lively for $160

Also caught today by Rod Beyers a crappie weighing 2.13 lbs.
