First grade and kindergarten parents are hosting a “Bingo” Theme Party fundraiser on Saturday, March 2nd from 1:00 – 4:00PM at Black Creek Park. It will be fun for the whole family! Please show your
support and join the party! Tickets for a $10.00 donation will be appreciated but are not required. Tickets are available through your favorite kindergarten or first grade family or at the event.
From kindergarten through college, iPads offer educators more diverse methods for delivering instruction and engaging students for learning in the 21st century. Countless schools have already incorporated the use of iPads in their practice and have shown improved behavioral and literacy scores. Copperopolis Elementary agreed to pilot the use of IPADS in the first grade classrooms. So, parents of the first grade classes are teaming up to raise funds to purchase iPads for each of the first grade classrooms. Our goal is to purchase 5 iPads for each classroom. We are confident that the use of iPads will enhance the way our kids learn and open up a whole new way of learning. There is a tablet technology revolution sweeping our world, and we don’t want our kids to be left behind. We hope that our efforts today will pave the way for Copper School’s future “teaching alongside technology” agenda.
All donations will go towards the “iPads FOR COPPER FIRST GRADERS” fund.
