NOAA Hazardous Weather Outlook

.DAY ONE...TODAY

A COLD UPPER LOW WILL DROP SOUTHWARD INTO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA TODAY
RESULTING IN SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS ACROSS THE REGION ALONG
WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE VALLEY AND FOOTHILLS. ABUNDANT
ACCUMULATIONS OF SMALL HAIL IS EXPECTED TO BE THE PRIMARY THREAT
FROM ANY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP. SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATING
SNOWFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE NORTHERN SIERRA NEVADA.
