Lungren Concludes 48 hour Meeting Marathon With Sacramento Representatives

Today, Congressman Dan Lungren (R-Gold River-CA) concluded 48 hours - of all day meetings - with Sacramento area representatives during their annual ‘Cap-to-Cap” trip. “Cap-to-Cap” is sponsored by the Sacramento Metro Chamber andis the largest chamber of commerce program of its kind. The trip to Washington, DC brings together regional business, labor and government leaders to build consensus for important regional priorities. 
“I always look forward to this trip because it allows me to sit down with regional representatives and tackle a myriad of issues. Everything from air quality, regulatory and flood control issues to the tough economic climate we are facing. I enjoy an ongoing working relationship with many of these individuals and groups throughout the year when I am home in Sacramento, but it is especially valuable to bring these leaders to Washington, DC,” Lungren said.
