Friends of the Animal Community is made up solely of volunteers. Our mission is to find suitable loving homes for the many wonderful animals whether they are currently in our shelter or pets in the community needing to find a new home. We assist people who can no longer keep their pets. This could be due to illness, a move or other circumstances. Through our "Courtesy Listing" on our Petfinder Page, we can list a picture and information about a pet online, helping to find a new home for a pet, puppies or kittens. FOAC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, all volunteer with no paid staff. The only funding received is from private donations and fund raising events.
