Sheriff Dept press release re: probation/parole compliance checks yield arrests in Valley Springs

On Friday 6-15-12, Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Deputies along with CDCR parole officers conducted probation and parole compliance checks in the Valley Springs and Burson areas. Several subjects contacted were found to be in compliance with the terms of either their probation or parole conditions and needed no further action.



The following is a list of individuals that were arrested throughout the day at various residences:

At a residence on Myrtle Street in Valley Springs, Jacob King (19) and Rene Berry (32) were arrested on outstanding warrants, 11550H&S-under the influence of a controlled substance, as well as 148P.C., resist/delay a peace officer, due to both subjects attempting to run or hide from law enforcement upon contact. A third subject, Robert Lucero (32) was also arrested for 11550H&S-under the influence of a controlled substance.
At a residence on Baldwin Street in Valley Springs, John Williams (32) was arrested for 496PC-possession of stolen property and 3056PC for violating the terms of parole. Adrianne Plowman (34) was arrested on an outstanding warrant and another adult female was detained and later released for possession of suspected cocaine. The substance was tested by investigators and determined not to be cocaine, but further investigation is still pending regarding the substance’s origin and possible connection to “bath salts”, a new designer drug that can produce extreme euphoria, but also extreme aggression, paranoia and hallucinations.
At a residence in Paloma, investigators discovered evidence indicative of narcotics possessed for sales. Gabriel Lozano (48) was arrested for 11377H&S, 11378H&S, & 11358H&S which are possession and possession for sale of narcotics as well as marijuana cultivation. Roger Anderson (48) was also arrested for 11377H&S and 11378H&S. Gregory Everett (31) and Aaron Vance (23) were also arrested at the same location for outstanding warrants.
During the day two other subjects were issued citations: Lakesha Smith (39) for possesion of drug paraphernalia and Lucretia Brown (50) for possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana.
