Sheriff Dept advisory message re: Canadian Man Arrested for Possession of Narcotics

(San Andreas, CA) On 6/2/12 during the Reggae in the Hills festival at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, Sheriff Deputies contacted a male subject who was later identified as Peter Lee. Lee was contacted as he was exhibiting bizarre behavior.




Deputies determined that Lee was under the influence of a hallucinogenic substance and he was arrested. Following the arrest, Sheriff Deputies located a red colored substance called DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) which has the similar effects as LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) in Lee’s possession, as well as a “2C-B” (Bromodimethoxyphenethylamine) (Hallucinogen) pill on his person. Additional hallucinogens located on Lee included Psilocybin Mushrooms and a suspected LSD tab.

Suspect Lee was charged with four counts of possession of a narcotic (11350(a) HS) and being under the influence of a controlled substance (11550(a) HS). Suspect Lee is currently in custody with a bail amount of $26,250.
