District 4 Supervisor run-off in November Election

According to County Elections office a candidate must receive a 51% majority in order to be elected the position they are vying for. In the June 6, 2012 election for District 4 Supervisor, no candidate received a 51% majority, which means the top two candidates, Tom Tryon and Debbie Ponte, will have a run-off at the November 6, 2012 election.

The total number of registered voters in district 4 is 6,020, yet only 2,576 cast their vote in the June 6 election. County-wide the voter turnout was approximately 43%.
