Sheriff Dept Press release re:Suspect Arrested for Violating Terms of AB 109 Post-Release Conditions

(San Andreas, CA) On 02/06/12 at approx. 0900 hours, Calaveras Sheriff’s Deputies while on patrol in San Andreas, observed a wanted subject, Manuel Travis Grow (38) of West Point, driving a vehicle on Highway 49. The deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Grow had an active warrant for his arrest for failing to abide by the terms and conditions of his post-release supervision after being released from state prison as part of AB 109. Grow reportedly cut and removed his electronic ankle monitor. Also arrested during the stop was the driver of the vehicle, Sondra Camacho (aka Sondra Melton) (28) of Pioneer. Camacho/Melton had an active arrest warrant for driving on a suspended license. She was also allegedly driving under the influence of a controlled substance at the time of the stop. Both subjects were booked into the CCSO jail on the following charges:
Manuel Grow: 3455 PC: Revocation of Command Supervision (felony)

Sondra Camacho/Melton: Arrest Warrant (14601.1 (A) VC), 14601.1(A) VC, 11550(A) H&S, and 23152(A) VC (all misdemeanors).
