YA Author Cynthia Kumanchik meets Copperopolis residents at book-signing

On Saturday September 10, 2011, local author Cynthia Kumanchik, author of 'Deception' the first in a trilogy, held a book signing at Once Upon a Time on the Square in Copperopolis Town Square.

Cynthia said that she had always enjoyed writing, though it had been more geared to the professional and marketing world, this book has been an exciting adventure. Learning from her daughter, the trials and tribulations of the teen years, Cynthia chose to focus on the challenges that children face in today's world, more specifically the onset of social networking, and the reality that people may not be who they portray themselves to be online.
