Calaveras Little League sign-ups

Calaveras American little league information Registration for 2013 will be held on January 5, 2013 from 10 AM to 12 PM. It will be held at Copperopolis School Gym and Mark Twain Multipurpose Room. Please bring 1) Birth Certificate, 2) 3 proofs of residency, 3) Medical and Insurance Information. Fees are $50 for T-Ball and Machine Pitch, and $65 for Minors, Majors, and Juniors. There is a $10 discount on all registrations received thru December 31. You may download the forms from www.calaverasamericanlittleleague.com to fill out ahead of time and bring with you, or mail in if you can't make registration. Players assessments for ages 9-12 will be held at 10 AM at Frog Town on January 19 and January 26. Thank you and we look forward to another great year.

Gilbert helps the Tigers down the Calaveras National Giants 4-1

Javon Gilbert had two extra base hits, helping the Tigers to a 4-1 victory over the Giants on Wednesday at San Andreas.
He doubled in the second and fifth innings.
Ryan Mercado struck out nine, paving the way for a the Tigers win. Mercado allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over 5 2/3 innings.
The Tigers were sparked by Cody Roessler and Gilbert, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
The Giants' lone run of the ballgame came in the third inning on an RBI double.
The Tigers stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fifth, scoring four runs on a two-run double by Gilbert, an RBI single by Roessler, and a RBI single from Joseph Borello.

Calaveras American Tigers take out the Ebbetts Pass Giants with help from Lee, 11-6

Hayden Lee went 4-4 at the plate, helping the Tigers to an 11-6 victory over the Giants on Saturday at Frogtown.
He singled in the first, second, fourth, and fifth innings.
Cody Roessler got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He tossed two innings of shutout ball. The Tigers pitcher struck out four, walked none and surrendered three hits.
The Tigers never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on an RBI single by Lee and a bases loaded walk by Ryan Mercado
