What Strong People Don’t Do!

When getting through some seriously tough times, we often struggle with hanging in and staying strong.  Since emotional healing is something all of us struggle with at times, I thought I’d write each week about some things emotionally strong people don’t do to give you new insights and perhaps creating a better life.  Enjoy!

They don’t think they need more to be happy:

Emotionally strong people know that happiness is a mindset of appreciation.  In other words, happiness doesn’t’ start when ‘this, that or the other thing’ is resolved.  Happiness is what happens now when you appreciate what you have.

They don’t compare their journey to everyone else’s:

Social comparison is the thief of happiness.  Do your best and don’t compare your progress with that of others.  They aren’t YOU.  We all need our own time to travel our own path.  Emotionally strong people know this basic truth, and they live by that presupposition.

Magic Morsel!   You don’t have to know how to get what you want; you just have to know what you want.
