SAN ANDREAS
– In Calaveras County, 3 people were arrested by the CHP
between 6:00 pm Friday and 11:59 pm Monday.
2 arrests were for Driving Under the Influence and one for Possession of
a Controlled Substance. Our Officers
handled 4 accidents during this time period.
Unfortunately 1 of the accidents involved a fatality
During the holiday weekend the San Andreas Officers wrote 16
citations. Most were for speeding
including several mechanical violations.
There was 1 citation issued for passing over Double Yellow Lines and 1
citation went to a motorist for having his music too loud.
