Megan
Borzone, 17, of Copper Hills 4-H in Copperopolis, took home the awards
for Reserve Supreme Champion Market Lamb and Reserve Champion 4-H Market
Lamb as well as Reserve Supreme Champion Breeding Ewe and Reserve
Champion 4-H Breeding Ewe, She also won second place in Advanced Sheep
Showmanship. Megan is active in both the Copper Hills 4-H Club and the
Bret Harte FFA, where she is also a member of the Floriculture Judging
Team.
Megan competed with her dog, sheep and horse at this year's fair,
as well as entering a stained glass project. At Friday's Junior Horse show, Megan won Advanced Showmanship, earning her a spot in Saturday's Round Robin competition, as well as Senior High Point Rider.
Megan hopes you will come out to the Junior Livestock Auction this Sunday, May 18, and support her in the sheep auction. She will be selling the 2nd lamb in the auction, which will start at 9:00 AM, preceded by a pancake breakfast at 7:30 AM. All proceeds after expenses will go towards her college fund.
