Throughout the day on 2-4-13 Bret Harte offered the students many outlets for their sorrow, including grief counseling, chaplain services and quiet times in classrooms. "We are a small community" said Chimente, "we all react." The counseling will continue as students find the need and compassion from the staff is in full supply.
A memorial service is planned for 11 am Saturday 2-9-13 at the Bret Harte football stadium.
