Taxpayers to Meet
The Calaveras County Taxpayers Association
will host its quarterly luncheon on Wednesday, January 30 at the Murphys
Historic Hotel with keynote speaker Congressman Tom McClintock, who will also
be presenting the Association’s award for Excellence in Public Service to
County Assessor, Leslie Davis.
Also speaking will be Rebecca Callen, County
Auditor/Controller.
The buffet luncheon costs $20 in advance or
$25 at the door and will run from noon to 2 p.m. The hotel is at 457 Main
Street in downtown Murphys. Seating is limited.
There will be a fund raising raffle and other
recognition awards presented.
