Umpqua Bank
celebrates the spirit of the holiday season with the launch of its Joy
of Giving campaign on Facebook.
Starting Tuesday, Nov. 20, fans are encouraged to post about their
favorite nonprofits, and Umpqua Bank will randomly select organizations
to share in grants totaling $50,000. The Joy of Giving campaign will run
through Sunday, Dec. 16, at
www.facebook.com/umpquabank.
“Every
day, our communities are enriched by the dedication and contributions
of nonprofit organizations that provide a great service to our
communities,” said Ray Davis, president and CEO
of Umpqua Bank. “Like Umpqua, our customers and neighbors are
passionate about the nonprofits in our communities and we wanted to
provide an opportunity for them to join with us in celebrating these
organizations – and giving back in a meaningful way.”
To participate in the Joy of Giving, individuals simply visit
www.facebook.com/umpquabank and post about a favorite nonprofit organization. Posts should include the
name of the nonprofit, its location and a brief explanation of why it’s valued. Nominated nonprofits must be located within
Umpqua Bank’s four-state territory and will be selected randomly to receive a portion of Joy of
Giving grant monies. Umpqua Bank will announce winners throughout the campaign.
