A BROAD AREA OF RAIN IS CURRENTLY MOVING THROUGH THE SACRAMENTO
RIVER DELTA...THE LOWER SACRAMENTO AND NORTHERN SAN JOAQUIN
VALLEY...AND INTO THE ADJACENT FOOTHILLS TO THE EAST. AN
ESPECIALLY VIGOROUS BAND EMBEDDED IN THIS AREA STRETCHES FROM
DAVIS...NORTH AND EAST THROUGH SACRAMENTO NICOLAUS...THROUGH
LOMA RICA AND INTO THE FOOTHILLS OF YUBA COUNTY. THE OCCASIONALLY
HEAVY SHOWERS MAY CAUSE SOME LOCALIZED NUISANCE FLOODING. PEOPLE
TRAVELING THROUGH THE REGION THIS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO ENCOUNTER
AREAS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS AND OCCASIONALLY GUSTY SOUTHERLY
WINDS THIS MORNING. THERE IS ALSO A POSSIBILITY OF ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING TODAY.

DISTURBANCES THROUGH NORTHERN CALIFORNIA TODAY AND TONIGHT BRINGING
PERIODS OF BRIEF HEAVY RAIN, GUSTY WINDS, ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AND
MOUNTAIN SNOW.
