Ski Free at Bear Valley Today 12-20-12

We are opening one day earlier than planned and will offer a FREE lift ticket on opening day! Bear Valley originally announced plans to open December 21st, 2012. The resort has now opted to push the date up to Thursday December 20th, 2012, just in case the mystical doomsday prophecy for December 21st, 2012 comes true. We thought this would be a great way to show our appreciation for our loyal guests.  We know what we’d rather be doing…hope you will join us.
Free tickets will be issued at the resort on December 20th only, beginning at 9am.  All guests will receive a valid free lift ticket upon arrival (no coupons, vouchers or season pass required).  Guests will find Friendly Bear Valley Staffers with tickets in hand at various locations throughout the resort – so get yours before heading out to the lift.    We plan to have Kuma, Koala, Polar and Cub chair ready for operation and guest enjoyment – updates are happening daily, so be sure to check the snowreport!
