RADAR IS ESTIMATING WIDESPREAD RAIN RATES UP TO A HALF INCH AN
HOUR...WITH RATES UP TO AN INCH AN HOUR WITH THE HEAVIER SHOWERS.
SPOTTER AND COCORAHS REPORTS VERIFY THESE RATES...
EXPECT LOCAL FLOODING WITH THESE HEAVIER SHOWERS AS WELL AS RAPID
RISES ON AREA STREAMS AND CREEKS. ALTHOUGH THIS BAND WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON...ADDITIONAL SHOWER ACTIVITY IS
POSSIBLE BEHIND THE FRONT TODAY AND TONIGHT...AND RAPID RISES AND
MUDSLIDES WILL CONTINUE TO BE A THREAT ALONG AREA STREAMS AND
CREEKS. THIS THREAT WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY THOUGH...AS A
SERIES OF STORMS TAKE AIM AT NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND PERIODS OF
MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN FALL WILL BE POSSIBLE.
