Trout: Pretty good for trollers who target creek arms such as Carson, Coyote or Mormon Creek. Jim Justice of Murphys and Darwin Parrish of Arnold have been catching limits of rainbows, trolling crawlers behind big cowbell flashers 25 feet deep in Coyote Creek. Still-fishing from your boat in any of the creek arms is also great. Bank anglers will have best luck under the Hwy 49 Stevenot Bridge, or the south side of the lake, where water is running into the lake. Glory Hole Sports employee Gary Powell has been having good luck bank-fishing. He caught a limit of trout, three bass and a catfish on crawlers and garlic marshmallows on his latest trip to Melones.
