Copper Cougar Volleyball Season Has Begun

Holding the coveted title of 2010 AMA 6th grade girls Volleyball Champions, the Copper Cougar Volleyball team, consisting of 5th and 6th grade girls, is starting the year with a bang. Though some of the champions moved on to 7th grade they have willingly come back to a few practices with the now 6th grade team to lend a hand and hand out some pointers.

The 5th grade team from last year, most have stayed on, also can boast a winning streak from the 2010 season, "The 2010 5th Grade Volleyball team went an undefeated 6-0 in their regular season schedule, placed 2nd in the JVC Tourney, and won the Michaelson Round Robin Tournament. They finished the season 11-1."

Coached by Aaron Stafford a former Copperopolis Elementary school student, the girls are looking forward to another stellar season..
