John Maness Nominated Chairman CFPD Board of Directors

Director John Maness was appointed Chairman of the Copperopolis Fire Protection District Board of Directors Thursday night at the CFPD Board meeting. Nominated by Jerry Andress, Maness accepted with humor replying to Jerry, "I thought you liked me."

Barbara Cheney has held the position of Chairman for at least the last five years. Steve Marks was nominated as Vice Chair acting in Maness' stead if unable to attend. Marks title will also include that of Treasurer.

Maness has been a Director on the CFPD Board of Directors since March 2006 and a volunteer firefighter with the District since 2003.
