Youth creative writing and perception class.

The classes - open to youth 8th grade to 12th grade - will be offered for 5 consecutive Thursday evenings 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm beginning January 3, 2013 at the Copperopolis Branch Library at a cost of $50/per student.

Each class will cover not only works by Hemingway, Poe, Emerson, Kipling but also cover each students own works in progress and perceptions of each. This is NOT a course designed to teach grammar or structure…it is designed to teach an aspiring author how to reach deeper inside to be able to capture the ideas and emotions they wish to project through powerful and concise words, which will in turn allow the reader to be transported on a literary journey of the authors own design.

Visiting instructors and authors will also give their own insight into the world of weaving with words.
If you are interested in this course for your child please contact Charity Maness at  charitymaness@live.com.

Class limited to 10 students.
