At
last Friday night's Town Square tree lighting ceremony, the Copper
Hills 4-H Club presented a plaque to "Mrs. Claus" to thank Castle and
Cooke, Linda Stefanik, the Copperopolis Town Square Management, and the
community for their support of local 4-H youth. The club was in charge
of the parking concession for the Copper Concert Series in October and,
along with Bret Harte High School FFA who loaned the performance stage
for the series, allowed them to earn $2800. With these monies, the club
will be able to help its members with the many expenses related to
showing their animals and other projects at the Calaveras County Fair in
May, along with enabling them to give back to their community. Thank
you for supporting local youth!
