Bikers to Visit Copper

On an annual run to the foothills members of the Hells Angels will be visiting Copperopolis the weekend of September 7-9. Though confirmation was not able to be made, a source states that the event will be held at the Lake Tulloch Resort.

The Sheriff Department was made aware of the event and increased staffing was put in place to deal with the increased amount of motorcycles on the roads in Calaveras County as other events will also increase traffic on the roads this weekend.

Please watch for motorcycles as you drive the roads this weekend.
