Tri Dam press release re:Lake Tulloch Draw Down

The Tri Dam Project, a joint venture of the Oakdale Irrigation District and South San Joaquin Irrigation District, is the owner and operator of the Tulloch Dam and Reservoir. The Tri-Dam Project is required to perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections of the spillway gates at Tulloch Reservoir. This work is required by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. To perform this work the reservoir must be drawn down to a lower elevation than typically experienced during the winter months. Listed below is the planned elevation schedule for the fall/winter period of 2012/13. This schedule was issued by the US Bureau of Reclamation and is being forwarded to provide early
notification to the general public for the planned reservoir operating levels. This early notification is intended to inform property owners adjacent to the reservoir and other interested parties to make necessary plans for docks and other facilities that may be affected by this drawdown period. All property owners and other users of the reservoir are encouraged to protect facilities in and around the reservoir to ensure safety and protection of property. This drawdown schedule may be found on Tri Dam’s website at www.tridamproject.com under the tab entitled Tulloch. Interested parties are encouraged to check the website on a regular basis for any potential changes to the schedule.
