On March 15, 2012, approximately 8:24 am, Sheriff’s dispatch received a report of a male subject with a firearm acting suspiciously. The suspect was firing shots in a neighborhood in the eastern portion of Arnold, CA. The deputy contacted the armed suspect on Dawyn Drive, and a shooting occurred. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. The deputy was not injured.
Names are not being released at this time. The case is under active investigation.
