Russ Thomas surprise visit to Copper Elementary singing the National Anthem

Each Monday the student body of Copperopolis Elementary gathers at the entrance to the school and watches in respectful silence as the American flag is raised by the student body. Instructed by the Sergeant at Arms Treysen Caywood to remove "caps and covers" the children removed their hats, covered their hearts and recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

Following the pledge of allegiance a special guest, Russ Thomas, asked for singers in the crowd to join him in song as he sang the National Anthem.
