3 October 2011, the Sonora Police Department took a theft report of a change machine from Sonora Car Wash located on Pesce Way. Upon reviewing video surveillance of the theft, officers were able to identify the suspect as Paul Graham of Sonora.
5 October 2011, a search warrant was served on Graham’s residence located on Skyline Road in the County. Over $37,000 worth of stolen property was recovered from several burglaries and thefts from within the City limits and in the County.
Some of the recovered items were; items stolen from Sonora High School during two different thefts; valuable baseball equipment, stolen during a vehicle burglary; firefighting thermal imager and other firefighting equipment; paint sprayers; power tools; musical instruments; telescope and other miscellaneous items. Most of the victims have been notified of the recovery of their property.
Other items located in the residence were; methamphetamine, marijuana, a shotgun, ammunition, and burglary tools. Graham has prior felony convictions making it illegal for him to possess a firearm or ammunition.
Graham still remains at large and the Sonora Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Graham. Graham is a white, male, adult, 28 years old, 6-1, 190, with brown hair and brown eyes. If you see Graham or know of his whereabouts, please call the Sonora Police Department at 532-8141.
