SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE ALONG PORTIONS OF THE
WEST SLOPES OF THE NORTHERN SIERRA. AT 515PM...THE BULK OF THESE
SHOWERS WERE LOCATED NEAR THE SIERRA CREST BETWEEN HIGHWAY 88 AND
HIGHWAY 108. AN AREA OF STRONGER SHOWERS HAS FORMED NEAR ANGELS
CAMP AND IS MOVING NORTHWEST AT AROUND 15 MPH.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WITH PONDING OF WATER IS EXPECTED. IN
ADDITION...OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STIRKES...SMALL HAIL AND LOCALLY
GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.

SIERRA TRAVELERS...HIKERS AND PEOPLE INVOLVED IN RECREATION
SHOULD HEAD FOR SHELTER IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.

THIS ACTIVITY SHOULD BEGIN TO DIMINISH AFTER 6 PM.
