On March 9, 2014 at approximately 3:15 AM,
an on-duty officer from the Angels Camp Police Department was involved
in a solo vehicle accident at Hwy 4 near Vallecito Bypass Road in
Vallecito.
The officer suffered injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital.
The accident is still under investigation and additional details are not available at this time.
