Summer reading program - a great way to pass a hot day

The annual Copperopolis summer reading program has already hit its stride with a whopping 54 children signed up!

The program allows a child to read at their pace, hopefully 15 minutes per day. The children keep a time log accruing 1 point for every 15 minutes read. That 1 point is equal to 1 ticket, which when combined with other tickets, can be used in the library 'store' to purchase fun items such as coloring books, balloons, hula hoops, water bottles, pens, etc.

The summer reading program began June 5, 2012 and will end August 16, 2012. There is still time for your child to become involved.
For more information please call the library at 785-0920
Library hours are T-Th 10 am to 5 pm.
