Many of you might remember the 10 Morgan horses that were
rescued back in January of 2011 from a Copperopolis home in Calaveras
County. The Morgans, ranging in age from five to twenty eight, had been
living in a small fenced in area filled with deep mud and manure. They had
balls made of mud and feces hanging from their hair, one weighing more
than 20+ pounds on the tail of one of the mares. All are doing great and
are up for adoption. Firefox, GiGi, Dora, Ribbon, Lace, Blossom, Baby
Girl, PJ, Cheyenne, and Sweet Pea are in need of training and are waiting
to be placed in their forever home. If interested in possibly adopting or
sponsoring one of the Morgans or to see any of our other horses at the
rescue please contact ReHorse to schedule an appointment.
