Inquiries Regarding Explosions near the Stanislaus River Canyon
(San Andreas, CA) The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous calls from residents in the Northern areas of Tuolumne County regarding loud explosions. The sheriff’s office wants to assure everyone that there are no planned or announced demolition activities in Calaveras County that we have been made aware. Additionally, the show Myth Busters is not filming a production at the Carson Hill quarry. Though we have received inquiries from residents in Tuolumne County, we have not received any reports from residents in Calaveras County.
