National 'Love Your Library Week' April 13-19

National Library Week will be celebrated April 13- 19th with the theme “Lives change @ your library.” In Calaveras County we will be celebrating our county library system during the entire month of April. As part of “Love your Library Month” we are holding a month long county-wide contest. Entry forms are available at each of our 8 library locations in Calaveras County.

The rules are simple: one entry per person. Just fill out your name and address and tell us why you Love your Library. We think the contest results will bear evidence to what we already know: the county libraries are important to you for many reasons. Those reasons include availability of computers; ability to use your wireless devices; free access to thousands of books and dvd’s; free tutoring in reading, math and computer use; children’s programs and meeting space. We know you love and appreciate your library system.

Winners will be drawn at random. Prizes include a limo ride from Stagecoach Limousine; Sequoia Woods Country Club round of golf; gift certificates from OuterAisle in Murphys, Scooters Espresso and Smoothies, the San Andreas Library Book Sale Room, Sustenance Books, and other prizes donated by local merchants and library lovers.

April is the perfect time to visit your local library, join the celebration and enter to win!
