After six years of building their dream of a "place where generations of families could come and enjoy an old fashioned ice cream experience" Steve and Donna Hutchings have announced that they have placed their beloved Cruisers Ice Cream Parlor on the market.
They hope that prospective buyers will see the potential for growth in the business, possibly expanding the menu and the events, yet keep the classic ice cream parlor tradition alive.
At this point the Cruisers mobile may be spotted at large county events, such as concerts, parades, etc. The Cruisers mobile has a confirmed spot at the Calaveras County Fair in May....when at the fair, stop by and say 'hi'.
"Deciding
to sell our shop was one of the toughest decisions we have had to
make. We have met so many new people and renewed some old friendships" over the years. Yet it is time to move on as they look forward to retirement in the next five years.
