Post Office Food Drive 5-11-13

The Post Office is having a food drive this Saturday, May 11, to collect non-perishable food for the Copperopolis Community Food Pantry.  All food that is collected in Copper will go to the local food pantry for distribution to our residents in need. All people need to do is leave a bag of food next to their mailbox and the carrier will collect it. We ask that the food not be past its expiration date.

I wanted to let you know The Resource Connection is having a free produce day for Copperopolis residents on Friday, May 24 from 1-3 pm. The location is the Copperopolis Library parking lot. The Copper Closet will also be there with free clothing.

 

TRC is also starting free produce days at the San Andreas food bank on George Reed Dr. The dates are May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, and October 11 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
