Message from Calaveras County Public Health

ATTENTION PARENTS AND GUARDIANS A MESSAGE FROM THE CALAVERAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND MTUESD
A NEW STATE LAW REQUIRES BOOSTER PROTECTION AGAINST PERTUSSIS (WHOOPING COUGH) FOR STUDENTS ENTERING 7TH-12TH GRADE FOR THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR.
STUDENTS WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM SCHOOL UNTIL AN IMMUNIZATION RECORD IS PRESENTED WITH PROOF OF THE PERTUSSIS BOOSTER {Tdap or pertussis containing vaccine}.
PERTUSSIS VACCINE ($16.00)IS AVAILABLE AT THE CALAVERAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH CLINICS. NO ONE IS DENIED DUE TO INABILITY TO PAY.
*SAN ANDREAS PUBLIC HEALTH DEPT. EVERY MONDAY 3:00-5:30PM AND THURSDAY 8:00AM -12:00PM 700 MOUNTAIN RANCH RD SUITE C-2(WEEKLY)
*WEST POINT SECOND MONDAY 2:00-4:30PM VETERANS' HALL MAY 9TH (MONTHLY)
*ARNOLD SECOND TUESDAY 3:00-5:30PM CHAPEL IN THE PINES MAY 10TH 2286 CEDAR LANE (MONTHLY)
*VALLEY SPRINGS THIRD TUESDAY 3:00-5:30PM UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 135 LAUREL (MONTHLY)
