Press Release for Horses, Wine & Art in the Gold Country July 9, 2011 & the Bridlewood Benefit Show July 10, 2011

Bridlewood Equestrian Center gives back……Horses, Wine & Art to benefit the Harmony Ranch therapeutic riding program. Based at Bridlewood Equestrian Center, Harmony Ranch is a non-profit, member of North American Riding for the Handicapped Assn. “NARHA“. NARHA is a non-profit that provides certification and education on therapeutic riding for over 30 years A therapeutic riding program for a children who have autism and special needs individuals.

“Horses help heal the heart, mind and body” says Tara Glessman, executive director, Harmony Ranch.  “I am thrilled to have the support of our local community”





Horses, Wine & Art in the Gold Country This event will feature exhibitions of horses trained for many equine disciplines such as dressage, driving, reining and more. Also on hand will be representatives of several Mother Lode Wineries. A selection of area artists, many of whom are active in the Mother Lode Art Association, will also be displaying their artwork. Also a day long amazing Silent Auction to benefit the Harmony Ranch program.

The event will run from 12-6 pm closing with a BBQ dinner, music, and the announcement of the Silent Auction winners. The equestrian demonstration will start at12:30 pm and you will want to allow enough time to get in and get seated. Wine Tasting will run from 1 – 4 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance or the day of the event. General admission is $5 per person (children under 12 are free). Wine tasting will be $15 per person and you will receive a complimentary wine glass. Food, beer and non- alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

The Bridlewood Benefit Show A fun open show with all proceeds to go to the Harmony Ranch program.  Enjoy our great facilities while supporting a great cause. Everyone is welcome at no charge to spend a day at the barn. Bridlewood Equestrian Center is located in Copperopolis 35 minutes east of Stockton at the intersection of Copper Cove and Steeplechase Drives. Banners and signs will be posted.

Harmony Ranch is an Equine Assisted Activities program that provides safe and educational interaction with horses for individuals with special needs. Lessons plans tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Students depending on ability catch their horse, groom, saddle and ride. Harmony Ranch is a NARHA Center.
