Since Umpqua became the bank of Copperopolis 6 years ago their ice cream truck has made many stops, bringing "cool" cheer to many on our hot foothill days.
They have visited schools, daycares, parades, summer camps and local businesses. Though they have made some unusual stops along their route says Iris Larson, Copperopolis Branch Store Manager, "We've stopped at auto shops where the people were working outside and we've even stopped at the transfer station."
This week Umpqua Bank and its employees have taken turns handing out ice cream to the kids at the Copper Parks & Recs Kids Camp. After a day of heavy play and creativity an ice cream bar hits the spot.
