Burn Hours to be Suspended July 1, 2011

Cal Fire will begin restricting burn hours in the Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit starting Monday June 20,2011. Suspension of all outdoor burning will go into effect on Friday, July 1.
Outdoor burning is permitted only between the hours of 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. with a valid burn permit on permissive burn days starting Monday.

Only clean, dry vegetation in a pile no larger than 4 by 4 feet can be burned.
Burn permits are available at the Copperopolis CalFire substation during daytime hours.
